INCEPTIV is excited to welcome Alex Sirota to our Advisory Board. Alex is a serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience of building companies, products and teams. He is also an angel investor, advisor to startup companies, and a published author.
In 2012, Alex co-founded Loop Commerce where he was Chief Product & Technology Officer. Loop Commerce disrupted fin-tech, retail and commerce with its patented, award-winning GiftNow® technology and service, integrated with and offered by many leading brands and retailers including Target, Neiman Marcus, Coach, Michael Kors, and many others. Loop Commerce was acquired by Synchrony (SYF) in 2018, where Alex continued to serve as Chief Product & Technology Officer of the wholly owned subsidiary.
Prior to co-founding Loop Commerce, Alex co-founded FoxyTunes which developed the world’s most popular music browser add-on. FoxyTunes was acquired by Yahoo! in 2008 where Alex spent over four years as Yahoo!’s Head of Media Web Apps.
Alex received his B.S. (cum laude) from Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
